The name Vasper comes from “vascular performance,” referring to the importance of cardiovascular health for reducing our risk of disease, enhancing fitness and athletic capabilities, regulating weight, strengthening the immune system, promoting longevity and more.

On the surface, Vasper may look similar to the recumbent bicycles you’ve seen at the gym, but this machine is so much more. The Vasper system is based on three scientifically proven principles – compression technology, cooling and interval training. The Three Pillars of the Vasper System

The “secret sauce” behind the Vasper effect is the synergy between its three core principles:

Compression

During a Vasper workout, compression cuffs are worn on your arms and legs. The pressure the cuffs place on your muscles encourages the rapid build-up of lactic acid and activates fast-twitch muscle fibers, mimicking the physiological effect of anaerobic exercise. In other words, even though Vasper is a low-impact workout, your muscles behave as though they are doing a high-intensity workout.

Cooling

Typically, when your body temperature rises during exercise, blood flow to your skin increases.
