IV Vitamin Infusion in Los Gatos

Dr Young speaking with female client

At YNC, we are happy to give you a quick boost, dehydration, jet lag, and a few weeks of fun are all great reasons to choose a supportive IV off our menu. If you are suffering from issues that sleep doesn’t fix, it. Workdays drag. Energy doesn’t come back the way it should, so we think it’s best to start with a full review instead of a menu.

Most IV lounges claim to help with health issues. There is rarely ever a doctor on site; these clinics are often owned by individuals without advanced medical training directing health care.

Instead, at Young Naturopathic Center for Wellness, we assess you fully to find out what’s causing your problems, including your:

  • Symptoms
  • History
  • Blood work, including: vitamin levels, electrolytes, and metabolic markers

Vitamin IV therapy is a fantastic boost for your system. If you are suffering from symptoms that are not resolved at a strip mall IV center, consider expert advice informed by lab results that support the chosen therapy to focus on the root cause.

How Do Vitamin IVs Work?

IV therapy bypasses digestion and delivers nutrients directly into the bloodstream. But it’s not a miracle fix for a bad lifestyle.

Results can vary. Many people experience more energy, some people notice a shift in recovery; others notice little right away, but over time see a change. Anyone can treat IV therapy like a standard order; we often use it as an expert tool.

Every infusion at our Los Gatos clinic is given in a supervised, medical setting. Our doctors are on staff to address your needs. While our standard bags do not require a doctor’s visit, just a few basic labs reviewed by our doctors, our intensive IVs are more involved. For our medical grade IVs, we start with your symptoms, history, and lab work. If the numbers don’t back it up, we aren’t wasting your time with a needle.

  • Myer’s Cocktail: Includes B vitamins, vitamin C, magnesium, and calcium used to support hydration, recovery, and energy during busy or physically demanding periods.
  • Immune Blaster: Containing Magnesium, Calcium, B5, B6, B12, Vitamin C, L-Lysine, and Zinc to support immune defense when you’re under the weather.
  • Inflamed Athlete: Vitamin C, Calcium, Magnesium, B5, B6, B12, Potassium, Amino Acids, Taurine, and L-Carnitine to support inflammatory balance and replenish electrolytes.
  • Alpha Lipoic Acid and Glutathione IVs: Clinician-guided compounded IV options designed to support individualized wellness goals when medically appropriate.
  • Phosphatidylcholine (Plaquex): Delivering essential fats for metabolic, cardiac and overall longevity support.
  • Prescription Oxygen therapy: Only available with a doctor’s prescription.

We have other vitamin drips available to suit your needs, and we can personalize your drip with B, C, and D vitamins, antioxidants, amino acids, oxygen therapy and minerals.

When Vitamin Infusions May Help

IV vitamin therapy is considered when:

  • Oral supplements haven’t helped
  • Recovery can’t keep up with demand
  • Energy stays consistently low

Everything we do is based on your health needs. IV therapy is a powerful tool used best when needed.

When Might Vitamin IV Therapy Not Be the Best Option?

IV therapy is not a replacement for a balanced diet and great lifestyle choices. IVs are supplemental and are often best paired with other therapies. We avoid IV’s in patients with suspected heart, liver, and kidney issues without a full workup because of the severe health issues that can happen with fluid overload. Pregnancy needs very special consideration. We will not administer IVs for patients with serious health issues such as cancer, heart disease, or metabolic syndrome without doing a complete work up.

Your Appointment at YNC

Our standard infusions just need clinical oversight, no blood or a separate appointment. Your informed consent is all that’s required to get started. Our medical-grade services require a relationship that is ongoing with one of our doctors.

Infusion Session

Treatment is done in a medically supervised setting. Most sessions take 30 to 90 minutes, and many people use the time to unplug or read. Some take advantage of other services like Emsella or hair restoration during their drip.

Targeted Testing (Only Some Treatments)

A few infusions, such as the Immune Blaster and High-Dose Vitamin C, require lab work before your first session. These check for things like anemia, organ function, vitamin levels, electrolytes, and metabolic markers to make sure the treatment is right for you.

Consultation (Recommended)

We’re happy to go through your history, lifestyle, and goals first. Fatigue, mood issues and low energy rarely have one cause; a consultation will help us look at the full picture and get to the root of it.

Follow-Up Recommendations

After completing our medical grade IVs, we check in on how you responded and decide if anything else would help. Not everyone needs ongoing IV therapy. Sometimes less is more.

Optional Add-Ons

Nutrients aren’t stacked for the sake of it. We include add-ons only when your labs and symptoms support them:

  • NAD+ supports cellular energy and metabolic function.
  • Glutathione supports antioxidant systems in the body.
  • Taurine for amino acid support
  • Additional B vitamins, amino acids and other services available upon request.

Why Do Patients Trust YNC for Vitamin Infusions

  • Doctor-guided care: All IV treatments are overseen by licensed naturopathic doctors in a clinical setting. Every step is explained so nothing happens behind the scenes.
  • No guesswork: Your history, symptoms, lifestyle, and labs (when appropriate) guide what comes next. If IV therapy makes sense, we’ll tell you why. If it doesn’t, we’ll tell you that too.
  • System-aware approach: Health is not treated in isolation. IV protocols are designed to work alongside nutrition, movement, and daily habits.
  • Medical Grade IV therapy with Quality ingredients.

FAQs

Is IV Vitamin Therapy Safe?

Yes, when it’s done properly and not treated like a spa add-on. At YNC, every medical grade infusion is prescribed and supervised by licensed naturopathic doctors. We minimally check your metabolic health, electrolytes, kidney and cardiac (heart) health prior to our advance IV’s due to the risk of fluid overload and electrolyte imbalance.

We start with reviewing your history, symptoms, and labs when needed. Mild effects like flushing or site discomfort may occur. Serious reactions are rare with proper monitoring.

How Often Should I Get An Infusion?

There is no set schedule. Frequency depends on symptoms, history, labs, and response over time.

Some people use IVs during travel or training. Others use them occasionally for a specific need. Treatment is adjusted based on response, not packages.
