  • Consultation: Dr. Renee Young starts by reviewing your health history, symptoms, and any relevant diagnostic data. This helps her understand what’s causing fatigue, brain fog, or other issues.
  • Advanced testing: We use state-of-the-art diagnostics, including nutrEval FMV, advanced metabolic panels (including B12 co-factors and methylmalonic acid), and other tests such as VO2 max testing or genetic testing. These help us to identify your overall risk factors, as well as biochemical imbalances and nutrient deficiencies.
  • Personalization: Based on your results, your IV infusion is customized for your body. Adjustments may be made to magnesium, B vitamins, vitamin C, and other essential nutrients to optimize energy, immunity, and recovery.
  • Infusion: A small IV is placed in your arm, and your nutrient blend is delivered directly into your bloodstream. Infusions take 30 to 45 minutes, during which most people can relax or read.

Do I Need a Prescription for a Myers’ Cocktail?

You do need a medical oversight and administration by licensed medical providers to have IV Therapy in California, as the California Pharmacy Board considers it a medical treatment. This is something we provide at Young Naturopathic Center for Wellness.

Our clinic goes one step further and requires that you have had blood work within the past 6 months to start receiving IV therapy. If you don’t have labs, no worries, we handle that all in-house. We also suggest that everyone gets a medical consultation prior to recieving IV therapy. Customization of IVs requires a doctor at YNC.

We know you have choices at other “IV bars.” We, however, pride ourselves on delivering effective care while protecting our patients. Too much fluid can overload the kidneys, and the wrong nutrient combo can make some health conditions worse.
