Chloé Deol, ND

Dr. Chloé Deol is a licensed Naturopathic Doctor, known for her thoughtful, whole-body approach to medicine. A graduate of Bastyr University and former collegiate track athlete, she brings clinical excellence, personal empathy, and a sharp investigative mind to every patient interaction.

Her work is grounded in science, shaped by lived experience, and guided by one simple mission: to help people feel seen, understood, and well again.

Dr. Deol focuses on gastrointestinal health, hormone health, toxin exposure, weight loss, and root-cause investigation of complex or chronic conditions. Her goal is to help people reclaim energy, restore clarity, and feel strong in their bodies again.

Outside the clinic, you’ll find her running coastal trails, playing piano, hiking, or foraging.

About Dr. Chloé Deol

Born and raised in Orange County, California, Dr. Deol grew up watching her mother struggle through years of chronic illness, cycling through doctor visits that led nowhere. Things only changed when her mother met a naturopathic doctor who didn’t just run labs, but actually listened.

That moment stuck with her. Not long after, Dr. Deol faced her own struggles with acne and gut health as a teenager. After exhausting conventional options, she turned to nutrition and naturopathic care, and saw a major transformation in her skin, energy, and overall well-being.

That experience made her path even clearer and purposeful.

By junior high, she had her sights set on Bastyr University. She studied Human Biology at UC San Diego, minored in Spanish linguistics, and worked as a naturopathic medical assistant before heading to Bastyr to earn her doctorate in naturopathic medicine.

Today, Dr. Deol brings the same purpose to her work: understanding patients deeply, treating them as a whole, and helping them restore balance in body, mind, and spirit.

Training & Experience

Dr. Deol’s training reflects her drive to understand the whole person — biologically, culturally, and clinically.

She earned her B.S. in Human Biology and minor in Spanish linguistics from the University of California, San Diego. Then, she went on to complete her Doctorate in Naturopathic Medicine at Bastyr University, one of the top naturopathic medical schools in the country.

With several years of experience in medicine, Dr. Deol has built a strong reputation for her ability to decode complex cases, especially those that are often overlooked or misdiagnosed in conventional settings.

Dr. Deol joined the Young Naturopathic Center for Wellness after a chance web search introduced her to Dr. Renee Young’s clinic. One visit was all it took, and she turned down other offers and relocated from Southern California to Los Gatos.

“This clinic is hungry to evolve. That brings out my competitive side. We don’t settle here. We find the next best answer for our patients — and we chase it.”

Approach & Values

Dr. Deol listens like your story holds the key. Every patient visit begins with curiosity, careful attention, and an openness to the complexity of real life.

Her approach blends the curiosity of a detective with the care of a dedicated healer. She looks for patterns that others may have missed, guided by the belief that symptoms are signals worth decoding, not inconveniences to silence.

Her clinical approach is grounded in functional diagnostics, naturopathic principles, and a deep respect for what each patient brings to the table. She investigates root causes through a multidimensional lens: physical, emotional, environmental, and even spiritual. Because, in her view, there’s no template to heal a person.

She’s also a fierce patient advocate. If you’ve seen doctor after doctor with no progress, she’ll acknowledge that and then go to work.

To her, medicine works best as a collaborative relationship. Her patients are not passive recipients; they’re active participants. That connection and mutual respect form the foundation of every plan she creates.

Beyond the Clinic

Dr. Deol brings the same drive, curiosity, and balance to her life outside the clinic.

A former competitive track and field athlete, she attributes her focus and tenacity to her years on the field. Now, she channels that same energy into her clinical work, always aiming to “win” for her patients.

“As a track athlete, my goal was to be the fastest and win every race. Now, I want to win for my patients.”

She’s also a classically trained pianist, having studied since the age of four under the guidance of a world-renowned teacher. Music has taught her patience, precision, and the discipline of mastery — all of which now shape her medical practice.

When she’s not at work, you’ll likely find her running, hiking, or bodyboarding. Time in nature is her reset, helping her return to each patient with clarity and presence..

To Dr. Deol, wellness comes from aligning not only physical, but mental, emotional, and spiritual health, too. That’s the kind of balance she works to build — both in her own life and in the lives of those she treats.

“Our bodies are designed to be in balance. When we are imbalanced, we experience disease — or what some of us call ‘dis-ease.’”
