Food Allergy Testing

Bioidentical Hormone Replacement Therapy
Bioidentical hormones are manufactured to have the same molecular structure as the hormones made by your own body.  Many studies show bioidentical hormones are metabolized better by the body with minimal side effects.   Synthetic hormones are created by companies as a means to achieve wellness while maintaining the ability to make a profit.  Since drug companies can’t patent a bioidentical structure, they create synthetic hormones like Premarin, Prempro and Provera, which are not identical in structure to our own body’s hormones.

Drs. Young and Larsen successfully create individual approach to hormone replacement therapy by first running laboratory tests of hormone levels to find the body’s imbalance.   Once we have figured out your individual needs, Drs. Young and Larsen will prescribe bioidentical estrogen, progesterone, testosterone, DHEA, cortisol or thyroid hormones for your needs. Each patient is carefully monitored by regular follow-up visits and hormone panels to ensure you are given the lowest possible dosage to relieve symptoms and obtain optimal wellness.   Initially, you will have a hormone test every three months. Once hormone balance is restored, you will be tested as needed or as part of your annual exam.
